Pianist Joyce Postmus
Joyce Postmus was born in 1969 in Veenendaal, the Netherlands and immigrated to Canada during the summer of 2000. She began taking piano lessons at age 13 and continued to study piano at the Stedelijk Conservatory in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
It has been her privilege to accompany various choirs in the Netherlands and she has been a regular accompanist with the Hosanna Mixed Choir and the Mattaniah Male Choir with conductor Herman den Hollander for the last 5 years.
Joyce has done several CD recordings with these choirs and also a piano and organ recording with organist John Vanderlaan. This recording is titled "In praise of the Saviour" and is still available for purchase.
Joyce resides with her husband Stephan in St. George, Ontario where she also maintains a private teaching studio. Through her music she wishes to glorify God and her desire is that her listeners will be encouraged and be drawn closer to Him.
